Looks like Sony Ericsson is jumping on the Windows Mobile Bandwagon, joining Samsung and Motorola who also have their own mobile phones running on Windows Mobile. Microsoft has announced that Sony Ericsson will release its first Windows Mobile phone, the XPERIA X1.
Notable features of the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 Mobile phone is its HSDPA and WiFi capability. Microsoft's press release didn't state what kind of processor the XPERIA X1 will be running so let's just keep our fingers crossed that it's a fast one. No word as to price and availability yet.
With Sony Ericsson joining the Windows Mobile game, that leaves only Nokia among the top five mobile phone manufacturers who's still not offering Windows Mobile capable phones. Wonder how long Microsoft will court Nokia because once Nokia releases a windows mobile phone, I'm first in line to get it.
