Nokia's entry-level mobile phones

Nokia has unveiled four entry-level mobile phones last week.

Nokia 5000




The Nokia 5000 has the design of the Nokia 5230 Xpress Phone. It also has 1.3 megapixel camera, FM radio, MP3 player, email, Bluetooth, and GPRS. The Nokia 5000 will go on sale on the second quarter of 2008 with an estimated price of 90 Euros.

Nokia 2680 Slide


The Nokia 2680 slide is Nokia's first entry-level slider phone. This one has a VGA camera, FM radio, and MP3 ringtones. Availability of the Nokia 2680 slide is expected on the third quarter of 2008 and has an estimated price of 75 Euros.

Nokia 7070 Prism





The Nokia 7070 Prism is the cheapest amongst Nokia's Prism phones. This entry-level phone is designed for the stylish individual and includes customizable themes, wallpapers, and MP3 ringtones. The Nokia 7070 Prism also has an integrated voicr recorder and hands-free speaker. Availability of this device is also during the third quarter of 2008 and price is set at 50 Euros.

Nokia 1680 classic

The Nokia 1680 is another low-end phone with VGA camera and email capabilities. It joins Nokia's basic phones and is probably Nokia's most affordable camera phone. VGA cameras are becoming a basic feature on most entry-level phones. Price of the Nokia 1680 is also set at 50 Euros and shipping begins during the second quarter of 2008.
