Those who are eagerly anticipating Apple's launch of their "revolutionary device" called the iPad may have to wait a few more weeks as Apple reportedly delayed the international launch because of high demand in the US. The Apple iPad will be available for Pre-order come May 10, prices would also be announced around that time.

Vodafone, Orange, and O2 have all signed up to supply the iPad here in the UK. There are two versions of the iPad, one with WiFi only and the other with WiFi and 3G connection. Both versions are available in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB varieties.

If you can't wait for the iPad until May, if you have relatives or friends in the US, you can always ask them to buy one for you and you can have them send it here in the UK. Of course, you'll be charged VAT and probably import duties but at least you're one of the first to own the iPad. Also, a word of advice, Apple has limit the iPad to two per customer so be sure to find someone in the US to get one for you before used up their allocated stock.
