Sure, the US doesn't have the tough choice between the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, HTC Legend, HTC Desire and Google Nexus One but would-be Android owners would have a difficult task ahead of them with the announcement of the HTC Incredible. Now there's more than two awesome Android handsets competing in the US smartphone market. Before, it was a choice between the Motorola Droid and Nexus One but now with Sprint's HTC EVO and Verizon's new HTC Incredible, the US Android market is also becoming fragmented.
Though it doesn't have WiMax to boast of like the HTC EVO from Sprint, the HTC Incredible has 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 3.7 inch AMOLED screen, Android 2.1, Sense UI, and 8 megapixel camera. Hmm, sounds like the HTC Desire only with an upgraded camera.
According to Verizon's website, the HTC Incredible should be available around April 29th. I wonder how will this affect the CDMA version of the Nexus One? Jeez, it's only been four months since the Nexus One was released and now its slowly becoming obsolete.
