So, the latest and greatest in the mobile phone world is Google's second reincarnation of its Google branded mobile phone: The Nexus S. The Google Nexus S is made by Samsung and specifications include: 4 inch Super AMOLED screen, contour display, 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor (similar to iPhone 4's processor), 512MB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 5 megapixel camera (no HD video recording), and Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.
If you think those features are enough for your to upgrade to the Google Nexus S, you can pre-order or buy one at Carphone Warehouse. Price range from £30 on contract, £429.99 Sim-free, and £549.95 plus £10 top-up on Pay as you GO. The Nexus S will be available at Carphone Warehouse starting tomorrow, Dec. 20th.
The Sim-Free version of the Samsung Nexus S is on back order. If you're thinking of importing the Google Nexus S from the States, we're on the same boat. It would probably be much cheaper, but the problem would be the warranty and the fact that BestBuy only ships within the US so if you have relatives over the other side of the pond, better send them Christmas presents if you want them to buy the phone for you and ship it to the UK.

Man, Orange is flooded with cheap pay as you go phones this Christmas so if you're hunting for cheap mobile phones to give as a gift, Orange is the place to go. This week, we have the Orange Rio Phone to review. So, is this a good phone? Let's find out.
Available At:
Design
If you don't know it yet, Orange branded phones are China made OEM phones which Orange slapped their brand on. Most OEM China phones are copycats of original phones and the Orange Rio is no exception. Does the design look familiar? Of course, it took its design cues from the Blackberry 8520, Blackberry's cheapest phone sans the optical trackpad

So we have two of Samsung's cheapest touchscreen mobile phones head to head. If you're looking for a cheap Pay as you go phone on Orange, chances are, you mostly narrowed down your choice between the Samsung Genio Touch and the Samsung Libre. Like many consumers, you might be confused as both phones seem to be very similar. Well, let me help you out of your confusion by comparing these two mobile phones.
Hardware
Design-wise, the Samsung Genio Touch is slightly bigger compared with the Samsung Libre although there's not that much difference. The Samsung Genio aka Corby also has the bigger screen, 2.8 inches compared with the 2.4 inch screen of the Libre. For those with bigger hands, you might prefer the Genio over the Libre but it all boils down to how you like your phone. It's best that you go to a brick and mortar store and try both phones out.
Both phones are solidly built but for fashionistas, they might prefer the fact that the Samsung Genio has interchangeable back covers so they can change colors on whim, the Samsung Libre doesn't have interchangeable covers though there are different colors to choose from.

Last year, I thought the Samsung Genio Touch was the cheapest touchscreen phone as far as touchscreen mobile phones can go but 1 year later, Samsung outdid themselves and came up with an even cheaper touchscreen mobile phone in the form of the Samsung Libre C3300 or also known as Samsung Champ in other parts of the world.
Available At:

Design
While the Samsung Libre C3300 may not have the pizazz that the Genio Touch has, thanks to the latter's interchangeable back covers, the Samsung Libre does come in different colors. Aside from being the cheapest touchscreen mobile phone, the Samsung C3300 might also be the tiniest touchscreen mobile phone out there. Sporting a 2.4 inch screen and dimensions of 96.3 x 53.8 x 12.9 mm, this phone seems to drown in your hands if you have very large palms.
On top of the mobile phone is the microUSB slot and the 3.5mm headset jack, on the right side is the lock/power button, on the left is the volume control, underneath the battery cover is the microSD slot, and at the back you can find the stylus if you find that your fat fingers can't scroll through the screen.
