Free paid apps for Windows Phone--for Orange customers

Sure, Windows Phone Marketplace's app catalog is growing every month but why do you think no current or potential Windows Phone owner is jumping for joy or joining the bandwagon? It's because Windows Phone apps are just too darn expensive compared with their iOS or Android counterpart.

Well, at least Orange UK is doing something about this. The company just announced that they will be offering a free paid Windows Phone app everyday in July for their prepaid and postpaid customers. All the subscriber has to do is go to the Orange Selects folder in the Windows Phone marketplAce. So just what kind of apps we'll be seeing? According to Orange, they will offer the "top app" for free from their selection of "best apps".

Here's hoping that we get to see Angry Birds on in their instead of a fart app.

    Everything free has some cost associated with it. I wouldn't complain about the gas to drive to pick up a free couch. It would be cool if some American telecoms did cool things for their customers like this once in a while.
