So, aren't you glad you're in Europe and all good mobile phones are released here? Though that's not saying that the Nokia 5800 was free of bugs when it was first released in Europe but at least we didn't get that troublesome 3G signal problem that the North American version of the Nokia 5800 got.

Anyways, a major firmware update has been released for the Nokia 5800 NAM. The latest firmware, according to Symbian Freak is version 20.2.014 and should be able to fix the 3G signal problems that some US consumers have been getting. Aside from the signal problem, the firmware update also brings a lot of performance updates to the device, further optimizing the functions on the phone.

This major firmware update may be based on the latest firmware updates for the European versions of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.
