Sony Ericsson Xperia X2a available on Sony Style stores in US

As an avid gadget fan, I'm subscribed to dozens of newsletters from retailers here and in the US. A newsletter from SonyStyle US a few days ago actually made me laugh out loud. It was an announcement for the Sony Ericsson Satio and Sony Ericsson Xperia X2. I could understand the Satio but the Xperia X2?! Come on! Vodafone passed on it because apparently, the hardware is so outdated and now they're trying to sell it unlocked in the US and get this: for $599.99!!!

Okay, so let's all catch our breath from that good laugh. For our friends in the US who're avid Sony Ericsson fans and are reading this, please, plese, please, save a few more bucks and just go for the Xperia X10, the software may be dated but the hardware isn't. If there's one thing you don't want on a mobile phone, it's an outdated hardware because you can't upgrade it unlike an outdated software (like on the X10) which you can easily update over the air or through your PC.
