I’ve been talking about and reviewing mobile phones for the past couple of months now but I still haven’t posted anything on where to buy cheap mobile phones. Honestly, the best and cheapest mobile phones are those that come from the wireless carriers. Carriers such as O2, Vodafone, and T-Mobile already subsidize the cost of the cell phones so you can get some mobile phones for free with different tariff rates.

However, buying mobile phones from wireless carriers would mean that your mobile phone would be locked to their network and you also have the burden of paying regular monthly dues even if you seldom use your mobile phone.

The cheapest way to get unlocked mobile phones would be from International sellers. You can find them on eBay and there are also US sites that are willing to ship internationally. You can also try looking into a business directory and look for exporters. Though some would rather sell wholesale, you can find dropshippers or a few wholesalers willing to sell samples.

A word of warning though: be very careful when dealing with International Sellers. Be sure they have a website, contact numbers and if you’re thinking of doing business with them in bulk, hire an escrow service.

Your safest bet would be at eBay since eBay has some security measures put up, there’s also Amazon marketplace and Expansys.co.uk, though the latter’s price are a bit higher compared with some eBay international sellers.
