Google Nexus one launch delayed till mid-April

Boooooo! If you're thinking you will be getting the Google Nexus One with a mobile contract from Vodafone by April 1st, well, don't get your hopes up. It seems that the launch of the Google Nexus One by Vodafone will be delayed at least until mid-April. By that time, Voda customers would have been touting their brand new HTC Legends and Orange and T-Mobile users, instead of jumping over to Vodafone because of the Nexus One, will stick with their carriers and will probably buy the HTC Desire, a similar mobile phone with a unique UI.

According to the reports, the setback is attributed to the fact that Google is setting up its customer service operations, something which the Internet giant has belatedly done in the US and caused some problems as buyers struggled with technical problems.

Well, if they do set-up a dedicated customer service operations for the Google Nexus One, then that's a point in favor of this phone but is it worth waiting a few weeks more?
