No, really?! *rolls eyes* Honestly now, I don't know what to make of this survey. First, why only conduct it on iPhone owners? Second, does this mean that Stanford is on Steve Job's payroll? Anyways, the survey did point out that similar devices with the same features might be just as useful and endearing to its owners.
Some of the funny things that the survey did find out: some iPhone owners don't like anyone else to touch their phones; some people actually name their iPhones; people pat their iPhones for a job well done; people actually think that their “iPod is jealous of their iPhone”. But what's NOT surprising is that 74 percent of owners say that owning an iPhone made them feel cool. Which bolsters the fact that people probably just bought an iPhone because of the “coolness” factor, not knowing that other phones pretty much offers the same feature at a better price *cough*GenioSlide*cough*. Anyways, it's a fun read but as some of the comments say, it's not really a big deal, people get addicted to things they like, it doesn't really need a survey.

Guilty as charged. :D
I can say the same things for my Nexus One but do they make a survey for it? Nooooo.
@ Anonymous March 9, 2010 3:23 PM. Totally agree. Maybe we should get Harvard to do a survey for us.
Mobile phones are addictive no matter if it's the iPhone or not.
