Camera and video

Another thing that makes the X10 stand out against its competitors is the 8 megapixel camera. It's the only Android mobile phone that supports this resolution. So the X10's camera should be great right? I'll leave that decision up to you with these sample pictures and videos.

Conclusion

I'm a bit on the fence here. I don't want to bash the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 that much because I can see its full potential once the software has been updated to Android 2.1. Out the bat, the UI is pretty, no scratch pretty, its gorgeous and fast, the included apps is not bad and I could feel the processor working.

Things such as multitouch can easily be forgone once they implement something much more useful for zooming in and out of webpages. The N900 has swirl to zoom maybe Sony could make up their own zooming feature, heck, even tap to zoom will do on the web browser. The annoying keyboard responsiveness and the audio quality could also be easily fixed via firmware updates. However, Sony, listen up or your precious X10 could easily become dead in the water, the key here is TIMELY software updates. If you deliver 2.1 when Android 3.0 has already been implemented then kiss your profits good-bye. With that said, I do like Timescape and mediascape and the glass screen is really smooth to touch. The camera is also quite good (IMO) so I'm gonna go out of limb here and give this a 7 out of 10 stars.
